HEPA Vacuum Rental for Restoration Contractors
IICRC S500, S520 and S700-compatible HEPA capture for soot, mold, water and trauma restoration.
IICRC-certified restoration firms across Houston rent HireAVac to remove fine soot, mold spores and post-flood particulates before reconstruction. Hurricane season, flash floods and freeze events keep demand spiky — we hold inventory specifically for restoration call-outs.
Smoke and soot remediation (IICRC S700)
Smoke particulate is sub-micron and oily — standard shop vacs simply re-aerosolize it. A true HEPA vacuum with a charcoal pre-filter captures the particulate and adsorbs the volatile organics so the structure can be deodorized rather than perfumed-over.
Water-loss debris and Cat 3 black-water cleanup (IICRC S500)
After demolition of saturated drywall and flooring, HEPA vacuuming the cavity and structural elements removes the residual bio-load before encapsulation. This is the step that gets glossed over on a deadline and shows up later as warranty calls.
Hurricane and freeze-event response
We stage HEPA units specifically for storm response. If you're mobilizing a strike team in the wake of a named storm, call us first — we can deliver multiple units to a single staging address and consolidate billing across the loss.
Frequently asked questions
- Do you bill insurance directly?
- We invoice the restoration firm, who passes through to the carrier. We can break invoices by claim number for Xactimate reconciliation.
- Can the vacuum handle wet debris after a flood?
- Dedicated wet/dry HEPA-capable units are available — request one explicitly. Standard HEPA dry vacuums are not for liquid pickup.
