Wet/dry HEPA-capable industrial vacuums for concrete grinding dust and core-drilling slurry recovery.
Concrete contractors use HireAVac for both dry grinding silica capture and wet slurry recovery from core drilling, saw cutting and wet polishing. Our wet/dry units switch between modes without filter changes.
Slurry handling without filter damage
Wet slurry will destroy a dry HEPA cartridge in minutes. Our wet/dry units use a float shutoff and an internal baffle that diverts liquid before it hits the filter — so the same unit handles slurry on Monday and dry dust on Tuesday.
Discharge and disposal
Captured slurry can be pumped from the vacuum drum or gravity-drained into a roll-off. We supply discharge fittings; you supply the disposal solution.
Dry-mode HEPA capture
In dry mode the unit returns to OSHA Table 1-compatible capture for downstream grinding work. The filter is rated HEPA when dry; do not run dry mode immediately after wet work without the recommended dry-out cycle.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I pump slurry out continuously?
- Yes with the optional discharge-pump kit. Otherwise the tank shuts off the vacuum motor at full and you drain manually.
