Dust application
HEPA Vacuum Rental for Asbestos Dust
H13/H14 HEPA capture for licensed Texas asbestos abatement contractors. Filter certificates included.
For Texas-licensed asbestos abatement contractors (TDSHS) only. HireAVac supplies the HEPA-filtered vacuum and documentation; licensing, containment, PPE, air monitoring and regulated-waste disposal remain the contractor's responsibility.
Asbestos fiber size and HEPA capture
Asbestos fibers are typically 0.5–5 microns in diameter and can be many times longer. The 0.3 µm MPPS test point for HEPA capture is specifically chosen because it is the hardest particle size to filter — anything above or below filters more efficiently.
Filter class: H13 vs H14
H13 captures 99.95% at MPPS; H14 captures 99.995%. For most abatement work H13 is sufficient and is what we stock by default. H14 is available on request for the most sensitive projects.
Chain-of-custody and decon
Our abatement units are factory-sealed with a fresh H13, broken on site by your crew, and returned in a 6-mil bag for shop-side decon. Inspection logs are available on request.
