Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 14, 2026
HireAVac is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make sure our HEPA industrial vacuum rental information, quote tools and booking forms are usable by the widest possible audience.
1. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
https://hireavac.com is designed to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard but we are actively working to address them.
2. Accessibility Features
- Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks and a single
<main>region on every page. - Keyboard navigation throughout the site, including skip-to-content links and visible focus indicators.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Responsive design that adapts to phones, tablets and desktops down to 320px wide, with text that can be resized up to 200% without loss of content.
- Descriptive alt text on informative images and empty alt attributes on decorative ones.
- Form fields with associated labels, clear error messages and inline validation.
- Tap targets of at least 44×44 px on mobile for primary actions.
- Support for screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver and TalkBack.
- No auto-playing audio; videos include captions where applicable.
- Reduced-motion preferences are respected via
prefers-reduced-motion.
3. Compatibility
The site is designed to be compatible with the latest two versions of major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) on Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. It is built to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech-recognition software and alternative input devices.
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- Some legacy product PDFs from equipment manufacturers may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We can provide an accessible alternative on request.
- Some embedded third-party tools (maps, scheduling widgets, WhatsApp chat) follow the accessibility of their providers and may not meet WCAG 2.1 AA in every interaction.
- Older case-study photography may lack detailed alt text; we are auditing and remediating these in batches.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us using the details below and we will help.
5. Assessment and Testing Approach
HireAVac assesses the accessibility of this site through a combination of:
- Automated testing with tools such as axe-core, Lighthouse and WAVE on every release.
- Manual keyboard-only and screen-reader testing on key user flows (quote request, trial booking, contact).
- Periodic third-party reviews and user feedback.
